The Washington Redskins finished the 2019 with an abysmal 3-13 record which caused ticket prices to decline. The organization began looking for new ways to incentive season ticket renewals. 

The team made an announcement that season ticket holders that renew before April 1 will be entered to win various prizes. Prizes which are free season tickets, lunch with former QB and Super Bowl MVP Doug Williams, suite access at FedExField and a trip Super Bowl LV in Tampa. 

The sooner a member renews, the more entires they gain into the sweepstakes. Season ticket holders will continue to retain their Redskins Gold member status. A status that includes expedited service at concession stands, exclusive stadium entry, NFL Game Pass and RedZone streaming and discounted food. 

While I believe these are great perks, the biggest impact on season ticket renewal will be the off-season acquisitions to improve the team’s performance. Everyone knows, the more wins the more fans you’ll have in the stands. This will naturally drive the desire for the season ticket investment.
