MLB season tickets

All 30 MLB teams may soon call Arizona home. The league has been discussing multiple contingency plans, one of which is having all teams in the Phoenix area.

One aspect that is plan hinges on is the amount of readily available coronavirus tests according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan. With spring training taking place in Arizona every year, the infrastructure is mostly available and ready to begin hosting games.

Although, there are still many issues that come into play such as players’ salaries, scheduling of games, and housing for club officials, players, and all associated with game day operations.

As many people would like to return to normalcy as soon as they can, there are also public health concerns. In addition to that, some players may be separated from their families longer than accustomed to. Does this mean fans who live in that area can attend the games? Will new ad-hoc Season Ticket plans be created?

One question raised is about the Season Ticket holders who aren’t local to the restart area. What becomes of their tickets for the year? Will they be refunded, credited or compensated in some other manner?
