Minnesota twins season ticket holders

The Minnesota Twins’ are offering a different type of Season Ticket called the “Twins Pass”, which is seemingly a success before the season begins.  The plan has seen  250% uptick in sales from last year. Team President, Dave St. Peter, recognized there needed to be a different way to connect with younger fans to get attendance to increase. Through fan feedback, the “Twins Pass” was created.

Their subscription plan, which costs $49 monthly, provides access to 80 regular-season games at Target Field is nearly sold out. The plan allows for standing room only views, but fans will have the opportunity to upgrade to a reserved seat.

This could be a great opportunity to attract casual fans who may have otherwise not attended. Other MLB teams, like the Oakland Athletics, have adopted similar offering to get a boost in attendance in lieu of Season Ticket holder sign ups.
